This car is from Carthage, Ternnessee and was one of Mid-Southern Restorations' first finishes in 2005. The car was being restored by another restoration company when the project was turned over to us. The body had been painted, and while we were assembling the car, the paint began to flake and come off. You could tear huge sheet of paint from the body. We did a repaint on it and proceeded to assemble it. The project took a few months, but the owner had all ready waited a few years. He was our newest friend, and at his very first car show he ever entered, he took first place. Lucky fluke, maybe, but a month later he pulled out another first place at a larger show. The big bird is flying high now.
