Midsouthern Restorations

1932 Ford Roadster

Here at Mid-Southern Restorations we also build custom hotrods. We built a 32 Ford Highboy Roadster. We started with a Pete & Jakes chassis. We had a stock 68 350 lying under a shelf from a restoration we did where the customer picked a new crate motor. The chassis was painted and the motor rebuilt to 392 cubic inches. The theme was to stay old school. An old Edelbrock Cross Ram intake manifold was located, and a new pair of Holley 450 cfm’s was added along with vintage scoops. A local provider of fiberglass products provided us the body that was stretched four inches for more comfort. The seat is actually adjustable. The deuce was painted black to show off its smooth lines. The reflection in the paint is mirror-like as can be seen. The little Hot Rod always placed high at car shows with many first-place awards. The Black 32 Roadster was sold to a gentleman in Evansville, Indiana.
